Since their roles differ, we basically recommend using both. However, depending on your skin condition, you can choose to use just one or adjust the amounts of both.
• Can I apply the serum first?
  Both are based on highly skin-compatible loofah water, so either order is fine. Using the emulsion first leaves a lighter finish. Using the serum first followed by the emulsion firmly locks the toner's moisture into the skin, keeping it hydrated longer.
• The liquid separated when I pumped it out. Is this normal?
  Because the product is emulsified with naturally derived ingredients, it may occasionally separate depending on storage conditions. This is not a quality issue. Please shake the bottle well before each use.
• Will it not spoil without preservatives?
  Plants naturally possess preservative properties to protect themselves, and this product utilizes that power to maintain quality. However, please prevent bacteria from entering after opening and use it as soon as possible.
